What is a certified translation?
A certified or sworn translation is made and signed (stamped) by a sworn translator licensed by the Ministry of Justice or by the Ministry of Culture.

What is a notarised translation?
A notarised translation is a certified translation, but in this case, the translator’s signature is certified by a notary public.

How much does it cost and how do you calculate the volume?
If you are a client who has signed an services agreement with Golding Translations, then the prices are the ones commonly agreed upon in the agreement.

If you are a client with whom we do not have a contractual relation, the estimated prices for each particular project will be communicated to you by a project manager, in reply to the request of a price offer that you submit on the internet.

The unit of measurement for written translations is the standard translation page, consisting of 2000 characters with spaces in the target language (the language in which the document is translated).

The unit of measurement for the interpreting services is the hour.

Volume
Golding Translations can do the translation of many pages per day, for the majority of languages; nevertheless, this volume might vary depending on the other projects submitted on the same day. The volume also depends on the difficulty of the language.

Emergency orders
Emergencies are treated with priority, but only after one of the project managers has confirmed the possibility to honour an order.

How long does a translation take?
The duration of the translation varies depending on the type of text, language and size of the document. Deadlines are commonly agreed upon for each separate project.

Confidentiality
Golding Translations secures the confidentiality of your documents, by means of internal procedures, even without being specifically asked to do this.

I want a translation. What do I have to do?
First, you need to contact us, send us the text, specify the target language and the ideal delivery date or call us at the indicated numbers and you will receive the offer in the shortest time possible. In order for us to do the translation, please respond to our offer in writing, as soon as possible, by sending a firm order.

Do I need the original documents in order to have the translation notarised?
